YOSEMITE IN OCTOBER

FALL IN YOSEMITE
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CALIFORNIA
I recommend everyone to visit Yosemite in the fall, not just to see the leaves changing colors but to avoid the crowds! The summer time crowds are seriously unbearable. The amount of cars on the road is equivalent to Los Angeles traffic at 5pm. Another plus is that the lodging prices are a little cheaper too. I always stay at Curry Camp, and I have to pay for the ‘heated canvas tent’ because I need to charge my camera and use my computer to upload at night. And I ALWAYS eat at the pizza parlor at Curry Camp, I don’t know why but it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had…maybe I’m just overly hungry but god it’s good.
If you have the time, take the drive up to Glacier Point before the road closes for winter! And one of my all time favorite things to do is sit up at Tunnel View at night and look at all the climbers tents lit up on the side of El Capitan. In the day time we always make a point to check out the climbers from El Cap Meadow, I love to hear them holler as the swing across the side of the mountain or when the make it to the top.
