PARADISE IN WASHINGTON

MOUNT RAINER NATIONAL PARK, WASHINGTON

When I walked up to Paradise, inside Mount Rainier I was at a loss for words. We were there during July, all the flowers were blooming, the grass was bright green, the sky was clear and the weather was just perfect. We took the Skyline Trail that takes you up to the Panorama Point. It is a very easy day hike but this is a beautiful is also a pretty strenuous hike, straight uphill and then straight downhill. It takes you through these beautiful green hills and then up to the base of Mount Rainier where you walk alongside massive glaciers on the side of the mountain. It is an amazing hike and was such a pleasant surprise.
