BIG BEAR LAKE

Big Bear Lake is only a short 2 hour drive from my home base in Huntington Beach, California. Most people utilize Big Bear for their skiing and snowboarding, but what you don't realize is how many other activities this town has to offer during summer and fall! We went horseback riding, we took a pontoon boat out with our dog, we went on a quick mile and a half hike to see a better view of the lake, and we got to stay in a gorgeous cabin only minutes from it all! 

Our dog, Tucker, was welcomed in the cabin, thanks to Grizzly Vacation Rentals for finding us a pet-friendly home. It was also great that we could include him on our boat ride as well! He absolutely loved the water... if you can't tell from the pictures.
