SEATTLE DAY HIKES
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
Photos from some of my favorite hikes in Washington, and just only a couple hours from the busy Seattle city. Don’t forget to pack bug spray in the summer!
LAKE TWENTY-TWO
Be sure to pay for parking so you don’t get a ticket!
HEATHER LAKE
It’s quite the long drive back on a dirt road, and depending on the road conditions this may not be suitable for a small car. Your parking pass from Lake 22 should cover this spot too!
RATTLESNAKE RIDGE
Paved parking lot, with a super accessible lake at the bottom of the mountain too. The hike is definitely worth it but be careful when you get to the top, you are very close to the edge. I probably wouldn’t recommend this for dogs or young kids.
NORTH CASCADES
This drive is longer than expected every time but always worth it. However, every time I get the chance to drive out to North Cascades National Park there is still too much snow to get back on some of the longer hikes, so learn from my mistakes and check the recent posts on AllTrails.com!
